MoneyMouth ("we", "our", or "the app") is a habit tracking and productivity app developed by Dylan Lane. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Apple ID (User ID): When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier to create your account. We do not have access to your email unless you choose to share it.

Habit and Activity Data

  • Habits: Names and completion status of habits you create
  • Timer Sessions: Completion records for timer sessions (Timer Beat, 7min Workout, 5min Meditation)
  • Streaks: Your consecutive day streak counts
  • Points: Weekly points earned from completing habits and timers

Optional Data

  • Display Name: If you choose to set one for leaderboards
  • Profile Photo: If you choose to upload one (stored in your device's photo library and our cloud storage)

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Sync your habits, streaks, and progress across your devices
  • Display your progress on leaderboards (if you participate)
  • Enable social features like following friends and celebrating their achievements
  • Calculate and display your streak badges

Data Storage

  • Local Storage: Your habit data is stored locally on your device using Core Data
  • Cloud Sync: Your data is synced to Supabase (our cloud database provider) so you can access it across devices
  • Authentication: Handled securely through Sign in with Apple

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for:

  • User authentication
  • Cloud database storage
  • Real-time data synchronization

  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption

Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app's Profile settings.

  • Opt out of leaderboard participation

Children's Privacy

MoneyMouth is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app.
