A way to track your skills and progress as a producer through experience, not by memorizing a textbook or notes.
HOW TO BECOME A WHITE BELT:
You’ve joined the Producer Dojo community (either FB or Discord), you've purchased a workshop, youve subscribed to DOJO TV, or you're Weekly Download member.
HOW TO BECOME A YELLOW BELT:
You’ve joined one of our coaching memberships, completed the onboarding steps and booked your first session with one of the Senseis.
HOW TO BECOME AN ORANGE BELT:
You’ve implemented feedback from a Sensei and completed your first track as a Dojo member.
How to Become a blue belt:
You've Composed, mixed, and mastered a track that is strong enough to be released on an established record label.
HOW TO BECOME A GREEN BELT:
You’ve submitted four complete tracks of blue belt quality using recipes from the ill.Gates EDM Cookbook.
HOW TO BECOME A PURPLE BELT:
Given out once per month to a ninja that is demonstrating notable progress and growth.
HOW TO BECOME A RED BELT:
You've been featured on a Producer Dojo Mix Tape that’s released on all Producer Dojo channels.
HOW TO BECOME A BROWN BELT:
You've been featured on an official Producer Dojo compilation EP.
HOW TO BECOME A BLACK BELT:
You've released your own EP on the Producer Dojo Label.

Curated by ill.GATES himself the Producer Dojo showcases a diverse array of edge music from artists both inside and outside of the Dojo community. Every month we release a soundcloud mixtape with a specific theme, and then either an artist EP or remix EP with full distribution. Dojo releases can be found anywhere digital music is sold and the music on our label often hits #1 on Beatport among other things.
