128s turns any audio into a playable instrument for your sampler in about a minute. Drop a recording in, pick a mode, hit GO. It chops the audio, tunes it, maps it across your keyboard, and exports it ready to play.

Let’s face it: multisample instruments are a chore to make.
Still… I’ve spent DAYS on ONE multi before because nothing else sounds as good.
After making thousands of them I got fed up and learned to code…
Now 128s makes a full multisample in just 1 minute.
Load the files into any sampler, spread them across the keys, and play.
128s works with ALL samplers. Not just Ableton.
“I learned to code JUST so I could build 128s… It does a whole day worth of sampling and prep work in under a minute.”
Drop a folder. Get a playable instrument.
Pick a mode. Set three sliders. Hit GO.

All 9 modes share the same three sliders. CHOPS sets how many samples. DEPTH controls processing intensity (changes meaning per mode). REMIX assigns a Wildcard Range at the top of your instrument and fills it with random selections from 67 built-in Remix Recipes.
Load a single sample under 5 seconds and DRY, VEL, FLT, and ACD modes automatically generate velocity layers instead of chopping. No configuration needed.
Turn up the REMIX slider and 128s reserves the top keys of your instrument for wildcard variations. Scratches, tape stops, acid filters, granular stretches, bitcrush, chorus, reverse, delays. Your normal chops stay at the bottom. The weird stuff sits at the top for when you want something you wouldn't have made on your own.
Every recipe has an intensity controlled by the DEPTH slider. Subtle or extreme. And you can reorder, enable, or disable any recipe in Settings.
29 pitch-safe recipes for tonal material. 38 pitch-modulating recipes for percussive and experimental work. REMIX=0 for clean chops only.
Click through kicks in a folder and you hear them solo. Load 128 kicks on your keyboard, hit play on your track, and you hear each one against your actual mix. Same kicks. Completely different choice.
128s caches its analysis the first time you process a file. After that, switching modes takes seconds. Try a few different approaches on the same recording. Keep whatever sounds right.
Turn up REMIX and the top keys of your instrument get filled with wild variations of your audio. Scratches, tape stops, time-stretches, acid filters, pitch shifts. Normal chops at the bottom, weird stuff at the top.
CHOPS: how many. DEPTH: how processed. REMIX: how much wildcard material at the top. Load audio, set sliders, hit GO. No zone mapping. No transient markers. No sample editing.
21 output formats. Your sampler is on the list.

21 output formats. Click the format button in the app and select your device. 128s automatically formats audio with the correct sample rate, channels, bit depth, and metadata. CHOPS slider auto-snaps to each device’s maximum slice count.
